I'm listening to my DS sing (badly!) in the bathroom which is making me feel all warm hearted and happy. He didn't have a great day yesterday but to be honest it always make me smile! I assume it means he is happy Smile.

Thought I'd start a positive thread about the silly things that have brightened up your day. AIBU?

My DS showing me a daft YouTube video of a cat with massive fangs! I know, sounds silly, but I've had a shit night and it made me smile... Smile

I've lost 13 kilos and didn't feel like there was much change in my body. But I went through a pile of old clothes to find I have dropped a dress size!

Aw nice sharing the YouTube videos with the kids!

Well done on your weight loss, that's great

My barely verbal two year old shouting 'cuddle!' with a big grin on his dimply chops when I opened the car door to get him out his seat 😍

My daughter, who has had a very difficult couple of years, told me yesterday school is much better and even seems to have made a good friend. She is also meeting a lovely boy on Friday, who right now seems to be a friend, but I hope it will turn into a bit of romance. After life being so difficult for her for so long, it finally seems she is getting to be a normal teenager. Whatever that is!

My DD went to bite me, she stopped shock her head and then hugged me.
She is very affectionate but keeps biting in frustration.
It brought a tear to my eye but I am soppy bugger sometimes.

Going to zumba and being complimented on my new, (very loud and patterned) leggings!

KittyVonCatsworth · 21/09/2018 12:41

Finding these crisps in the shop opposite my office. A real throwback and a very tasty one too!

Rage driving to work after sleeping in, boy racer car in front of me with bumper sticker "this car is lower than your nan's titties". I'm a child so it made me smile.

EnglishRose13 · 21/09/2018 12:49

My husband and son had made our family out of gingerbread. It was adorable!

SidekickSally · 21/09/2018 12:50

A guy asking if I needed help carrying a suitcase down the underground steps. I didn't, but his gesture was touching, especially since it was busy rush hour.

Kpo58 · 21/09/2018 12:54

My 2 year old DD getting really excited when the tellytubbies came on TV. She was also repeating their names. She has a global development delay so still isn't saying much.

SillyLittleBiscuit · 21/09/2018 12:56

My dog on the beach. He finds a stone he likes the look of (on a beach full of them) then buries it, digs it, carries it and barks at it. No idea what he’s thinking.

Lauren0rder · 21/09/2018 12:58

I fell down the stairs yesterday so I’m having a day off watching crap TV

It’s making me happy.....

delphguelph · 21/09/2018 13:00

Another weight loss related one here too. I look da bomb 💣 today Grin

Also, I got a seat on the metro. Whoop.

And its Friday, of course.

SusieFlo · 21/09/2018 13:07

Freezing rain is attacking my window and I just remembered that my OH put a rice pudding on in the slow cooker this morning

thatmustbenigelwiththebrie · 21/09/2018 13:10

I have had a massive report to work for work that was stressing me out. I got up at 4am and have just FINISHED IT! Roll on the weekend. Shame it's raining.
