To ask if anyone can help me find it cheaper?
I know it’s a charity but times are hard at the mo. NT is great for kids but £114 is a lot of money.
I KNOW we used to do 9 months for the price of 12...anyone any ideas pretty please? Cake

Thanks everyone! I am going to look into Scottish membership but also consider the topcashback/quidco option too. Seems to be lots of different views on car parking - as nanny says lots of car parks using scanners now which apparently don’t accept NTS cards - I’ve been told the car sticker should still be acceptable but it might be down to the person checking!

All the NT car parks I've used this year have required you to scan your membership card in the car park ticket machine in order to get a free parking ticket. Car stickers weren't valid in those car parks. If the free parking is important to you I would double check that you are able to use the Scottish NT card in the machine

Yes this is important. I can say you don't need to do it at Montecute or Cary Lytes Manor (or didn't 3 weeks ago), but you do at Parke and at Osterley Park, for example, so it depends on the property.

Oh and I have Historic Scotland rather than English Heritage membership because we joined when we were on holiday there many years ago and have kept our membership. Not everyone who is a member of the Scottish version is trying to get it cheaper!
