Hoping for a hand hold or maybe messages of similar experiences :-/

Had a mc at the beginning of this year (12 weeks). Now pregnant but had a chemical before this so unsure of dates exactly (I think has to be between 5-6 weeks). Went for a scan today as had been spotting brown blood. Nothing on the scan, no sac just thickening? Had some bloods taken and have to go back to have more done to compare. I've been told three possibilities, ectopic, failed pregnancy or too early. Tonight I have a bit more bleeding and seems a bit redder. It is not enough to need a pad by any stretch but is quite a bit when I wipe. Sorry if this is all tmi. I haven't had much pain, if anything maybe a dull ache but tbh I think I'm imagining lots of symptoms out of worry.

I'm really scared I'm losing another baby :-( anyone still awake? Xx

I had a friend who bleed during her first pregnancy but went on to have a healthy baby. Baby was delivered by c-section and she was found to have 2 placentas.
Turns out she had miscarried a twin.
Her second pregnancy was twins which she miscarried fairly early on.
Her third pregnancy went the same way as the first although she said she didn't want to know if she had miscarried a twin.

Hang in there. You are right to protect yourself by not getting your hopes up but equally, don't give up hope all together. Please carry on looking after yourself as if you are pregnant in case you are wrong and everything is ok.

Fingers crossed for you. Flowers

Hi ladies :-) sorry for not updating sooner. I lost the baby on Saturday night. They have carried on doing my bloods and they have started to drop. It was a bit of a nightmare as they said I couldn't have time off (no idea why!) but I got a sick note from my gp for a week :-) slowly getting better just taking good care of myself and letting my husband do all the running around! Thank you all so much again for your kind words and for just talking when I needed some company especially @blackvelvetband xxx

Awww @toomuchtv88 I'm so so sorry for your loss. No advice or words or wisdom... I don't think anyone can say anything that will change how you feel. Just be kind to yourself and feel free to contact me if you want to chat. Pregnancy loss is fucking shit, and people will do anything to avoid talking about it, so don't be surprised if you get some radio silence from some people for a while. Xx
