To ask if you got pregnant from sex 4 days before ovulation?

Posting for traffic as I have no shame.

As the titles says, anyone here get pregnant from sex 4/5 days before their ovulation day?

I ovulated yesterday (confirmed - test & I get epic ovulation cramps). Had sex on Friday just gone and now wondering the chances of it resulting in baby #2.

Not actively trying, but happy either way. Just curious really Smile

I got pregnant on the last day of my period.
Day 7.
I genuinely did not think that was possible.

Nope but sperm can survive for several days in the vagina so not impossible

Yep only had sex once - 5 days before ovulation. She'll be one in December.

I will be honest and say I have no idea when I would be ovulating. Never had need to look into it. However I'm currently 15 weeks pregnant and we've worked out that I must have become pregnant on the Tuesday after my period ended on the Friday. Which seems to be about two weeks before ovulation would be presumed!

Yes she’s a beautiful 8 year old. I tried for 3 years for her. Know exactly when it was as my husband was on a set of nights so it couldn’t have been any other time. Was rather despondent as thought that’s my chance for this month gone but then I got a big fat positiveGrin

Sperm lives for circa 5 days inside a vagina so definitely possible

Yes, both of my dc were conceived 4 days before ovulation.

I did get pg from having sex 7 days before ovulation but it ended in a miscarriage at 6 weeks.

And yes both mine are girls...the theory goes that boys swim faster but girls live longer, so if it’s more than 24 hours before ovulation it’s likely to be a girl.

I got pregnant one day after period ended. I read that the earlier you do it the more chance of a girl. Nope ds number 3 Grin
