Have 2 kids - a son of 3 and a daughter who’s almost 3 months. Haven’t had a moment to myself pretty much since my daughter was born.. so when my husband asked what I wanted for my birthday .. I cheekily said I’d love a night to myself in a hotel, just to sleep and watch Netflix and have a long bath etc.
He’s only gone and booked it! And there’s a spa and a massage has been booked too!
It’s booked for tomorrow, and I literally can’t wait! Not had a drink since little one was born - so may have a glass or two of wine too!
Aibu to be so excited to effectively be spending my birthday in a room on my own!
