...to ask if anyone has a weird tiredness bug?

Posting for some traffic!

Curious really... we all have a strange tiredness in the household. Nothing else wrong, everyone just strangely exhausted. Fall asleep in your dinner type of exhausted. Normal life being lived etc, yes children are back to school but they were very active in the holidays. I'm thinking it's a bug going about - anyone else suffering?

Yes we all have it too. Bloody annoying isn't it? Can't work out if it's just an Autumnal thing and the body has moved down a gear a bit quicker due to having such hot summer so we notice it more this year.

Thanks @minimaxi. Yes, bloody annoying! I keep thinking could be worse though as I tend to go into blind panic when I know that norovirus is doing the rounds, which is usually soon...

@TheSheepofWallSt All my problems started 6 weeks after a miscarriage. I have always suspected that the two are related. I had the weirdest symptoms, on top of the tiredness, meaning that it took ages to be diagnosed (ended up having brain scans and MRI s as I also had tingling and pins and needles - now know that's common in peri menopause).

Yeah I had it a few weeks ago!

I was going to bed at like 9pm! Had my dad over for dinner at at 8pm had to ask him to go as I was so sleepy!

I assumed I had some kind of low level virus and my body was using all the energy reserves fighting it off. No other symptoms. Nothing else developed. Fine now.

Have you tried anti-histamines OP? That is what I feel like if I forget to take mine ( I double dose too)
The hay fever season gets longer and worse every year too ☹️

I was worried my constant headache was something serious until I read this thread - I woke with no headache this morning but have a congested feel in my upper chest so I think it's a bug/virus of some sort.

Thank you! I know I'm not going crazy now!

I thoguht I had a cold that wasn't a cold if you get me...

Bit of a sore throat, the odd sneeze about 5/6 times a day but not cold level, nor have I got the bunged up head cotton wool feeling.

BUT I am absolutely super-duper exhausted and everything aches and is sore like it is when having a cold but not ill ill.

Hope we all feel better soon! xx

How bizarre, I was also googling Chronic Fatigue Syndrome as I was so tired last week that it was unusual.
It's now come out as some sort of horrid chest infection. Been knocked off my feet for the last 3 days and hated every minute of it.

Blobby10 · 19/09/2018 16:09

Another one here! I assumed I was fighting off a cold of some sort (Oh had a right stinker of cold starting end of last week) so began taking my echinacea drops three times a day. Unfortunately I also started a new gym programme on Monday and have serious muscle aches from that so can't tell what is gym tiredness and what isn't Grin
