Just home from work, trying to be a bit healthier but so hungry that I've just demolished a Pot Noodle I found shoved in the kitchen cupboard..the pot states it 'might' contain celery and egg and there were definitely peas in it and a mango sauce sachet thrown in too ! AIBU to think this is some kind of secret superfood that no-one else knows about ?! Anyone enjoying culinary delights to match mine ? Grin

Peas, celery and mango.... you're well on your way to your five a day.

To make up the other two portions can I suggest a couple of glasses of grape juice and a cherry pie.

Well done OP, you're an inspiration.

Ha ha ha ! Can the grape juice be of the alcohol kind ?

Haha I love it!
I had a mayo chicken and fries from McDonald's so you're doing better than me.

daffodillament · 17/09/2018 15:03

I had chicken chow mein. Are bean sprouts a vegetable?

AlleyG · 17/09/2018 15:04

Can the grape juice be of the alcohol kind ?

It definitely should be. The non-alcoholic stuff just doesn't do the job.

daffodillament · 17/09/2018 15:06

Mrsharrison Chicken Chow Mein for lunch ..Lots of healthy stuff in there I imagine !

You need some chocolate too daffodil for a properly balanced meal. It's made from a plant so it must be good for you! Wine

gendercritter · 17/09/2018 15:07

It sounds absolutely repulsive OP but whatever floats your boat Grin

iklboo · 17/09/2018 15:10

I've had three buttered cream crackers. Can't be bothered eating today.

BuggerOffAndGoodDayToYou · 17/09/2018 15:18

Eldest child had finished of the bread (why can’t she sod off back to uni and stop eating all my food) so I had two slices of ham and a packet of crisps before dashing out for a meeting..... wish I’d had a pot noodle lurking in the cupboard....

PoppyPlum · 17/09/2018 15:21

Yellow M&Ms are extremely good for you as they're full of nuts. Unsaturated fats etc etc.

I also always make sure to have a packet of vegetable crisps from Pret when I buy lunch there.

daffodillament · 17/09/2018 15:24

Hee hee ! Ooooh, bloody love a Pret lunch. Soups there are LUSH !

You are all such health freaks! I had a slab of cake and a frothy coffee for mine

littlemisscomper · 17/09/2018 15:27

I was proud of myself for making the healthy choice of rum ad raisin ice cream yesterday. After all. raisins are dried gapes so definitely count as 5-a-day. I made sure I had several scoops so I had enough to count as a full portion.

Whipsmart · 17/09/2018 15:28

I had a grilled cheese sandwich with ketchup AND brown sauce. Lunch of kings.

RomyAndJulio · 17/09/2018 15:31

I had two fruit buns with butter. And a packet of prawn crackers.

Balanced diet: fruit, dairy and seafood.

Clandestino · 17/09/2018 15:37

I had pizza with rocket on top. That makes it an healthy option. Also, it was fresh and sourdough. I am so proud of my very healthy food option.

Pah, I was looking forward to a chocolate orange pot in my Ocado delivery. Imagine my disappointment and disgust when on eating it, the first spoonful had a fibre-ey texture. All delicious things like cream have been substituted with AVOCADO! Shock So chocolate flavour guacamole. Envy

Plan to console self with a bacon sarnie.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 17/09/2018 15:54

I had toast with peanut butter (obviously a vegetable) and apricot jam (fruit). Also carbs and protein... Shockingly healthy for a Monday!

purplemanholecover · 17/09/2018 16:00

I had 12 mini sausage rolls and a box of Aldi halloumi fries... it's day 1 of my maternity leave so I thought I would treat myself! Grin

daffodillament · 17/09/2018 16:05

Well you certainly have your dairy in there Purple ! Sounds amazing. Making a note to myself to check out those halloumi fries !
