AIBU to expect a friend who offered to do our wedding video (for free mind) to have delivered it by now - 15 months after the event.

lol - sorry. YANBU. Have you spoken to him? What are his reasons/ excuses?

my cousin did mine free for me, and I had the same issue, i.e. it took him ages to finish it and get it to me. Mind you, I think we got it about 8 months later - which is better than your friend! Have you asked about it?

A friend offered to do our wedding video (also for free), we were married almost three years ago, he has never mentioned it since, and DH and I are to embarrassed to ask.

Well, it's the gf of DH's best friend. DH is more annoyed about it than me. I'm not bothered because I think I looked a bit of a sight on my wedding day and don't particularly want to see it!

Anyway, they've promised it for next week.. .. ... .. .. but DH is really cheesed off because it's been excuse after excuse. The gf works in TV and is a freelancer and apparently doesn't have much time. DH says she should have thought of that before offering to do the video. I'm bracing myself for a row!

Well if it's anything like mine, then i was getting all angry with my cousin (like your DH is) but then when we eventually got the video, it wqs excellent! He had clearly put so much work into it that I instantly forgave him for the delay. Let's hope you have the same happy outcome. And perhaps when you see it you'll also realise you didn't look as bad as you remember!
