We're going away for the night to Arrochar without the kids tomorrow. Looking for somewhere nice to go for lunch on the way. Happy/prefer to take the scenic route so doesn't have be directly on the way.

The Oak Tree Inn at Balmaha is lovely. Not too fancy, just a nice pub with great food in a lovely location. I always stop here whenever I have a excuse.

Luss is very pretty, but quite touristy because of that, a really nice place to have some lunch though.

Oh I've stayed at the Oak Tree Inn, had a lovely meal there for dinner and breakfast.

Or if you are willing to overshoot slightly (well, by about 20-30 minutes) , you could go to the Loch Fynne Oyster Bar, which is just bloody gorgeous.
