To not want iplayer to show adult tv titles to my DC?

When I've found a tv programme through iplayer that DC want to see, then left the room while it plays, when it finishes playing it defaults to the main menu. During the last week that has included the titles "Sex With My Father", "Shot By My Neighbour" and helpfully just before they went back to school "Killer in My Classroom". Is there a way around this within iplayer, eg somehow getting it to default back to a child-friendly menu...?

If they are CBeebies age you can do it through the CBeebies site.

If they are older I don't think so.

You can set up a child's account on iplayer, it means they mainly see cbbc and cbeebies stuff with a few family friendly bits (think strictly). We've just done it for our son, makes it much easier.

That's great, thanks so much!
