To find tooting funny

My LO just woke herself and me up with a massive trumpety fart which made me giggle no end. Not the first time I have found her tooting amusing, especially if she is looking otherwise the angelic little baby with her cherubic blonde locks and fluttering eyelashes.

We jokingly say things like ‘that’s not very ladylike!’ which we shouldn’t be gender does not discriminate when it comes to flatus and digestion. And it’s a sign that everything is working as it should!

Less impressed by adult sized boogers or massive nappy presents as you actually have to do something about those and they’re gross, rather than just lying back and laughing.

I was slightly disappointed when I moved to London as an adult and happened to visit Tooting (lived in Wandsworth for a while and then Balham). It just seemed so very ordinary and quite grubby, nice curries though.

I remember adverts on buses to promote the change when London split from 01 to 081 and 071. My favourite was “Ringing Tooting or Barking?”

big 'citizen smith' fan here too, my ds 18 has a 'wolfie' outfit that he had for a college rag day, people were shouting 'power to the people ! ' at him .
when the lastest 'ghostbusters' came out at the cinema we went and he was wearing the full outfit - you can only imagine the attention that got - including several photos [sorry, op got carried away]

My 2yo does very loud, man farts then laughs his head off. He also makes farty noises and accuses me or DH of farting.

MissisGeneHunt - people in Cockfosters must have lower house prices as a result of silly name, no? Like people who live at no.13 having lower valuations.

No, Cockfosters is mostly fucking lovely but the prices aren't really. Very expensive (mostly).

@Hplikecraft - thank you that is a funny thread! Although has reminded me of being pregnant and accidentally farting when walking down corridor at work. Not empty corridor, past office doors and banks of desks. Just had to pretend that nothing had happened though I suspect creeping crimson of shame up my neck gave me away.

@paintinmyhairAgain - sounds an excellent costume but how does your DS know about the show, have there been repeats that I’ve somehow missed or have you done better than my parents on educating about 70’s TV shows? :)

We still lay there blaming each other then chuckling when our baby farts laying in his crib. How that much noise comes out of something so small is beyond me. We had his passport photos done and as the photographer bent over him he did a massive long one in her face.

appy i love the show as i grew up with it,the dc have watched the dvd sets too i used to do the 'power to the people' salute to the dc when they were younger - always raised a laugh - mums being weird - again ! once for a dare stood in the middle of our local park and yelled 'freedom for crawley !' let's just say the response was very mixed ds was wearing the infamous outfit complete with beret though - it's his fault he dared me knowing full well i'd do it !

Baby farts are hilarious. I couldn't believe the trucker farts that came out of my tiny newborn!

Tooting isn't funny when you are driving through it, never was there a place with so many people madly rushing to cross the road like demented lemmings.
OH I see. But nevertheless, Six Mile Bottom is a very funny place name.
