To LTB after what I found in our bed (lighthearted)

So DH works nights but has to do a bit of shopping on the way home.

He's gone into the shops and bought himself a large packet of wine gums. Obviously got it to bed to eat them all alone and the whole pack and not share.

He must've been tired and fallen asleep because I got into bed that night and wondered what on Earth I was lying on......three dropped unshared wine gums!!

So do I LTB for not sharing?
Log it with 101?
Tell him I know?
Leave it and see what develops?

Ignoramusgiganticus Grin brilliant.

Ignoramusgiganticus · 13/09/2018 09:22

How long do you think he's managed to keep this fetish secret?

powerwalk · 13/09/2018 09:23

You will come through this op. Hand hold. He should have known this would end in a sticky mess when he touched that bag.

This summer we went on a caravan holiday.
I was pushing the two single beds together when I saw a giant slug on the wall.

Just as I'm about to run away screaming my mum casually points out its just a black wine gum that has bubbled in the heat and fallen down the side of the bed stuck to the wall.

Hate them now Envy

Let’s add a bit of this too shall pass

I'm not keen on licorice allsorts...but, one day I had a real sugar craving and was driving in my dh's car to our nearby city. He ALWAYS has some sweets somewhere. True to form, in the glove box a half eaten sharing bag of aforementioned allsorts! So in I tucked, they weren't that bad actually and I ate the bloody lot.

On my return home, I decided to fill the bag with a similar weight of pebbles from our drive so he'd be fooled into thinking there were some left....put w small note in the bag saying 'welcome to the real world, jackass' , tucked them back neatly as was into the glove box. And waited. Now this plays out better than even I could have imagined, the following Friday on getting into his car after finishing work he called, during the call I heard shuffling and thinking he was sorting out his briefcase to, I just chatted. Then I heard the unmistakable sound of a sweet bag being opened and an 'oh', and an 'ah, you bastard' as he read the note!

Made I chuckle for weeks!

I hate wine gums! You didn't want any, surely? If it had been a box of chocs that would have been different. But wine gums? YABU grin
.......

Choc would have made a mess on the bed and looked like something else. If he'd done that the op wouldn't be asking what to do, she'd have kicked him out in his boxers and gone straight to the solicitors to file for divorce.

Pamdoo · 13/09/2018 14:05

Ugh cheers OP, now I really want wine gums!

AmberNectarine · 13/09/2018 14:50

Now off to the shop for wine gums

spinabifidamom · 13/09/2018 15:28

Now I want to eat some wine gums.

VelociraptorRex · 13/09/2018 15:42

@Bellends that is genius, I'll remember that for when DP hoards cheeky sweets and thinks I can't find them Grin

Charlie97 · 13/09/2018 16:21

@Bellends I've a similar one, my BIL said he was giving up biscuits (he was a nightmare for biscuits!) so DS emptied the biscuit tin and put carrots in instead!! Of course the no biscuits lasted about 48 until he went to the tin and found the carrots 😂

To all other posters, I've decided to forgive DH. Please don't flame me, he says it was the first time I'm not sure I believe that but my eyes have been opened.

Thank you all for taking the time to post.

I had frosted wine gums just last week. Frosted. They were unusual but I think I liked them- I ate the whole packet just to be sure

Charlie97 · 13/09/2018 16:45

@SilentBob were they like fruit pastilles? Where did you purchase such items? I need to check them out.

Happygummibear · 13/09/2018 16:56

When I first moved in with dh I asked if he had any jaffa cakes left... he said no.... later that evening I found half a pack in the cupboard.... he lied to me... he claims to have "forgotten" they were there... but who forgets they have jaffa cakes???

I still haven't forgiven him 4 years later and if he asks for something of mine I remind him of jaffagate....

Good on your for forgiving him but I would be searching under the pillow and the car just in case... always be wary... I still struggle to trust a man who hides food from me

SilentBob · 13/09/2018 17:13

@Charlie97 No, not that fruit pastille-like.

The frosting was very fine, like tangfastics but not sour (mores the pity I say!) but then the taste was wine gummy.

They were purchased in a Co-op in Wales.

iklboo · 13/09/2018 17:20

I'm such a pushover. DS gets my first Munchie of the packet and DH gets the last one. Huh. Balls to that from now on! Grin

youarenotkiddingme · 13/09/2018 17:28

Even worse they aren't even red or black ones - which means he ate all the best ones too

Pamdoo · 13/09/2018 18:28

Back again to say cheers OP, really wanted wine gums after your post, went on a walk and stopped off at the shop. No wine gums. I'm quite upset. You should really think about everyone in the world that might fancy a wine gum before posting them on here.

charliebear78 · 13/09/2018 18:35

Bloody love wine gums!!!

Snoopychildminder · 13/09/2018 18:37

🤢🤢 wine gums?? Forget about LTB for not sharing I would LTB for liking them! 😆😆😆

MrsStrowman · 13/09/2018 18:39
