Got some of those breaded fish cakes from Tesco and just realised the use by date was 8 Sep. Will I die a horrible death if I still eat them?

I personally wouldn't risk it.

Do it. Then book your ambulance.

Smell them. You'll know if they're not ok

Shoxfordian · 11/09/2018 10:41

Don't eat them!

They are 3 days past it... No

What kind of fish? If it’s something like smoked haddock then I would. Prawns then I wouldn’t.

I frequently dice with death as far as use by labels are concerned though so I think I have an iron stomach

Thanks, I’ve thrown them in the bin. Just annoyed with myself as I bought two packs and froze the wrong one with the longer use-by date!
