To start a hangover support thread (light hearted)

I should know better, I’m 40, got ragingly drunk last night and now I’m waiting for the hangover, join me with your tales of woe
(Light hearted, no lectures about sensible drinking please)

Yes! Woke up after a massive sleep feeling much better, going to relax and enjoy my day off
I hope everyone is back to normal today and no 2 day hangovers
And let’s not drink so much next time!!

Was doing some spring cleaning (well, it is spring where I am) yesterday afternoon and had a few too many wines while doing the cleaning - or several too many wines - which lasted late into the night; no headache but I feel so thirsty and just lethargic. I always feel really irritated when hung over, like I just want everyone to leave me the fk alone and stop talking to me and annoying me with trivial details.

I didn't eat much yesterday and today I've lost another pound!
My dp is coming round for dinner wednesday and I'm determined not to drink.
Any tips on how to stick to this? I can get some beers in for him but what can I drink that won't kill my kidneys?

@crazycatlady5 I just saw your comment...it was the delightful combination of vodka and irn bru...

It took me 2 days to recover...and I forgot I've got a family do tonight that I need to attend. Might just drive

So....hands up how many folk on this thread have now completely forgotten how shite they felt on Sunday and are looking forward to a drink after work

HELP 😭 stupid wine😷

I drank yesterday but after three glasses of fizz I went on diet coke. Then had a couple more wines and pizza.
No hangover today! Yes!

I'm very hungover.done the usual been a big walk with the dog this morning,up with the kids feeding them etc tidying up had a bacon roll and a full fat coke..now the kids are away for an hour do I go to bed for a power nap or will that make me worse??

This thread cheers me up enormously when I am feeling like that (sorry can't figure out how to link)

I have to drink again tonight.

Lessons I've learned since last week:
No to the berocca
Full fat coke in the fridge ready
Crumpets ready
No to the prosecco

After tonight I'm staying in until Christmas

Was at destination wedding last night. Fabulously fun but suffering badly. Currently nude sunbathing on the private balcony of the villa and chugging water while MNing 😎

I had one rum and coke last night and promptly wished I hadn't. Boy, that was some serious alcohol poisoning I gave myself last week!

@lowtide I learned that lesson years ago vodka ginger beer is the current poison!

I'm sat here just finishing my last glass of wine (12.30 am, am in Aus) thinking this is probably going to hurt tomorrow (along with 2 dc with jetlag 😖) and now I'm wishing I hadn't clicked on this link!

I had my work leaving party last night and cocktails were 2 for 1.

I had many.

I am a bit subdued today!
