CF neighbours, noise and running a bar from their extension

Eugghhhhh sick of the CF neighbours. Every weekend loud music till the early hours with their back garden full of people making loads of noise.
I've now heard it's because they have a bar in an extension just built (not sure if the extension is even legal).

How do I deal with this
a) go to the council
b) police (don't think it's police related)
c) try and reason with them. They're not reasonable people. Very inconsiderate.

I've left it as long as I could but it's just getting right on my nerves now. I start a shift a 6am😩

A bar has to be licenced.

Soontobe60 · 08/09/2018 22:30

The noise in itself is causing a nuisance so should be reported. Phone the council and ask their advice.

Definitely phone the council.

Only if they're selling alchohol. If they're just huge private party people, no licence needed.

CripsSandwiches · 08/09/2018 22:31

Also be prepared to keep phoning and keep reporting.

Council- noise
Police-unlicensed bar

I would think it only needs a licence if money changes hands. There may be other grounds though - planning permission, noise?
