Hostess is veggie. Its a bit of an obligation/work thing but boss is making an effort so i feel i should do something half decent rather than turn up with a packet of crisps!

Total numpty in kitchen!

Strawberry cheese cake? Super easy, lots of recipes online.
Have a look at Hugh Fearnly Whittingstall's veg stuff, he's got lovely ideas. Maybe some veg stuffed pastry (ready made pastry of course!) bites?

Homemade cheese straws?

Posh curry chickpea style snacks from a supermarket (or something a bit different to just crisps)

CoughLaughFart · 08/09/2018 19:08

Maybe Indian nibbles? It’s really common to get entirely veggie selections in most supermarkets. Maybe some mini cheesecakes or similar too? Iceland is good.

Vegetable samosas
bread sticks/hummus
vegetable quiche

Oooh might go for the cheese straws! Am thinking that and some bits from tesco

I was going to suggest cheese scones but cheese straws is just as good or maybe cheese sausage rolls which always seem to go down well.
Or what about falafels - Aldi do some which we like.

Cucumber sandwiches-crusts cut off, of course, or you could cut out tiny round ones with a small cookie cutter

  • Mini houmous, falafel and roasted vegetable or salad wraps.
  • Pepper stuffed olives
  • Spanish omelette or a frittata
  • Feta and sundried tomato filo parcels or tart
