AIBU to ask for your help in planning a party (London/ South)

Hi, I am tasked with organising a (fairly small) get together in London for a 50th birthday party in a few weeks time. It probably needs to be afternoon rather than evening as there will be children and won’t be a raucous drinking affair.

Can anyone recommend anything that is a bit of a different/ special experience, that will be accommodating to kids and available at short notice. Budget of about £1k for 20 people.

Thanks for any help :-)

what sort of thing were you thinking? you could do something like this:

hire a venue like this one- www.tagvenue.com/rooms/london/4898/stephens-house-and-gardens/stephens-room

then hire some things like these:
www.wonder-struck.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI_Nqa76yk3QIVBrvtCh00_QICEAAYAyAAEgLWu_D_BwE
www.dancingcubs.co.uk/category/ball-ponds/213/the-10-ft-by-10-ft-big-bad-ball-pond#BodyContent

add some drinks, balloons etc and you have got yourself a party, fun for kids and adults. feel free to contact me if you want some more help, i would be happy to. xx

That's a broad brief!

What are the ages - what about something like an escape room with drinks afterwards?

There was one in leadenhall but it may have been a pop up, ditto London Bridge.

Or swingers indoor golf?
