To not be able to live for 60-90 days when the income I expected is not paid?!

Because that is what I, and other members of the pension scheme for the largest employer in Europe, are having to do because of a fault in their computer systems!

Please don’t think I’m begging, with kind relatives, a credit card and my partner’s income too we will not starve.

But I want people to know this is happening!

My retirement application was made within the guidelines to recieve payments this month.

Nobody in the trust I was working for up until last week or the pensions service told me there was a problem. Just an announcement on Twitter and the website three weeks before I stopped work.

Eventually but with a lot of huffing and puffing, they also massivly cocked up The Bank staff wages when they went from weekly to. monthly pay, some staff were owed thousands(they eventually got their money but it took months to sort out) there was no apology or anything , I hope you get it sorted ,is the union helping.

Oooh! It hadn’t crossed my mind that I’m still a member, thank-you!

I'd be more petrified to retire without any liquid savings whatsoever Shock

Lol, in an ideal world! But the pension scheme has always reportedly been the best place for our money, and the lump sum portion was intended to provide some! Thank you for that, though!
