AIBU?

A couple of times I've taken my baby to change her and have found the baby change to be just in the female toilets outside all the cubicles? Not only does this mean I can't go to the loo after I've changed her but also don't like how everyone can see her wee bum and dirty nappy!! Also where do men take their babies?

Debenhams seem to be the best I have found they have a family room loads of space! They have toilets, ok they are Children’s toilets! But you don’t have to worry about peeing with the door open! Lots of disabled toilets in our area with baby changing facilities combined. It’s a nightmare when they aren’t, DD has a stoma bag if that leaks it’s awful when they are on show people pull faces and tut as though we should be hidden away! Erm the facilities available are not my fault!
The whole male baby change well that’s another story in my experience doesn’t exists, men just don’t have to change nappies when out and about. Angry

Go into cubicle, pull buggy towards you as close as possible, Go to toilet. Hardly anyone will notice or care that the door is open. I have to do it with a double buggy (side by side one) now which doesn't even slightly fit into the door frame.

And I apologise constantly for the buggy being in the way.

On your baby's nappy and bum being in view the first responder was right. Nobody cares, most don't even notice and if they do it's just to say a quick comment about baby being cute.
