to think featuring an obese model on a magazine cover is as reckless as featuring an anorexic one?

Following on from the Piers Morgan drama, I don't understand why it is being encouraged as "body positivity" to be very overweight? Nobody in their right might would promote extremely thin/anorexic models with a "body positivity" message as something healthy, so neither should obesity. Surely this sends out the wrong message to vulnerable young women?

Both are extremely unhealthy and should not be promoted.

Anorexia is a severe mental illness with a low recovery rate and a high mortality rate and is per se a disability. Obesity is just a body type. It is not an illness by itself and it is certainly not as destructive or life-limiting as anorexia.
