I have two at the moment...

  1. our new neighbour has put a monstrous piece of play equipment right next to our fence meaning her children stand on it with full view of our garden and right in to our kitchen/diner. It’s such an invasion of privacy! I had to shut the door this morning as he was up there shouting ‘helloooo’ at me in my pjs in my kitchen.

  2. no show to dd’s expensive birthday party treat on Friday evening. We could only invite a few children due to cost and one (parent) replied yes and then never showed. I messaged and called and no response. Has since been online but still no acknowledgment. Again, rude!

  1. Plant leylandii, water frequently.
  2. Do not invite the child to anything ever again.

Haha the irony of your leylandii suggestion makes me laugh. We spent best part of a decade getting rid of it from our garden as it’s quite small and it took over. We have a lovely (expensive) fence instead!

  1. If you own the fence put trellis/screening on the top, you can buy trellis with fake leaves which would block the view.

  2. Send them the bill for the unused places and never invite them again.

  1. My other suggestion: don't wear any clothes when you are in your kitchen/diner. Nakedly glare at the children.
