Almost 2 yo dd. Keeps stripping off at bedtime. Last night my Dh put her back in her nappy 20 times. No exaggeration- 20 times. Eventually fell asleep at 10pm.

Have tried;
Nappy on backwards
Pull up
Nappy and pull up
Knickers on top of nappy
Knickers on top of vest / pyjamas
Vest with poppers on backwards
Vest over pyjamas
Etc etc

Nothing is working! Within 5 mins of being in her bed she's naked. She's not potty trained.

Any advice? I'm tempted to leave her naked as she turned last night into a game. Calling out "daddy" etc.

AIBU to leave her naked? She has a duvet....

If swimsuit fails my DD is 5 and can't take herself to the toilet in a jumpsuit with a buttoned back ( to be fair I would struggle!)

Gorilla tape. Also known as 'magic nappy tape' to my toddler. Stopped within 3 weeks. Good luck!

DD refused nappies at that age and was dry night and day within a few weeks. I’d go for the potty training

Straitjacket?

LadyDuplo · 01/09/2018 22:45

basta that's what my Dh said last night! 🤣

We used duct tape, but it does take care as you don't want it too tight to cut in her sides or to take the skin off.

Just to report Dd settled pretty quickly in her swimsuit and slept all night in it.

Thanks so much everyone for your suggestions - especially the people who suggested the swimsuit. Genius idea.

Have a good day everyone
