I hate changing rooms that have curtains instead of doors

A real problem if you have a dress or top stuck over your head. Not sure whether I drew the curtains properly. Worried that someone might walk in. Not sure where the assistant is. Agree?

I've never really thought about it to be honest. I don't use them or am in not in there long enough to care.

KindergartenKop · 30/08/2018 17:42

Surely you can't see the assistant through a door?

InDubiousBattle · 30/08/2018 17:43

Agree. My kids just dick about with curtains, exposing me to all over the place. Doors. With locks. High up ones!

Order online, try on at home.

Best to vote with your feet and walk out, telling the staff why you will be shopping elsewhere in future. If shops lose trade over the curtains, they’ll damn soon fit proper doors!
It’s even more of an issue if this wretched “self ID” nonsense comes in. Any voyeur, flasher or pervert of a man could then simply pretend he’s trans, and demand to come into the changing area with you. Good luck trying to stop him peering round or under a curtain to get his kicks. A bolted, floor to ceiling door is much more secure protection.
