Surely I can find a 180cm wide freestanding wardrobe?

I want a 180cm sliding mirror door wardrobe for my bedroom. It's a loft conversion so the height is only 205cm. It's going to cost over £2k for a fitted wardrobe.

I've been looking online (including IKEA Pax) for a free-standing one that is 180cm wide but they all seem to be either 150 or 200cm. Is that just the standard or would it reasonable to think if I keep looking I'll find what I need?

Just not sure the extra 30cm of wardrobe space is worth the cost of the bespoke one.

Do Ikea do 'single' wardrobes, so you could have a smaller one and the bigger one attached to one another?

We had luck with a small size wardrobe at Argos. Just had a quick look and they have some 180cm ones. Could be worth a look?

We bought ours for a small house we used to live in but 12 years later they still look good and are still in use in our bigger house!

If you got a 2 door and a 1 door unit it would be just under 180 cm

Look at the Ikea Platsa range. It’s a modular system. I think the widths are 60cm and 80cm, so you could have 3 units at 60cm wide.

Unfortunately a 150cm double plus a 50cm single would be 200cm in total. Itseems to be the same everywhere I've looked so far.

Those Argos ones would fit; the doubles are 120 and the single was 40, so 160cm total?

I got loads of furniture made bespoke by carpenters on eBay, the prices were amazing (as in cheaper than high street), beautifully made and obviously fit perfectly. I was getting a different style, but I'm sure you could find someone to do what you're looking for
