Unusual. Reporters were called to gather for an outing with President Trump. Once in the vans, he emerged from the White House and boarded the motorcade, but then got out and walked back inside the residence, per @betsy_klein

Odd. Trump got into the presidential SUV this morning to leave the White House. Three minutes later, he got out & walked back into the White House. Reporters have now also unloaded, indicating Trump's not leaving anytime soon, per pooler @betsy_klein

Can they actually use 'Executive Privilege' in the circumstances, though? I feel a SCOTUS decision coming down post haste. (Not that it would matter though. Mr M's team don't leak but neither are they saints.)

And given the recent polls, it would be political madness to try blocking it in any event.
