To do a ouija board on my own?

Got another threat going but wanted to ask a quick question.

I want to a ouija board to determine whether anything is haunting my house. I'm a non spiritual person, non religious, don't really believe in the supernatural but I'm being tested at the minute.

I've been to some of the most supposedly haunted places on Earth (Poveglia anyone?! Look it up) and felt nothing. So I'm not easily convinced but something isn't right. Nobody will talk to me about it and nobody believes me. I'm tempted to just do a ouija board on my own. If nothing happens, I'll tell myself I was imagining everything else.

AIBU to consider doing this??

I haven't read the full thread but I just wanted to say you can't do one on your own. The reason for this is that you will be pushing the glass or if you buy a board the plastic or wooden thing it has around. Therefore you will be subconsciously answering your own questions.

You need at least 2 people but a third would be handy to write things down. No more than 5 people.

People are sceptical about them but I have done one and it's weird when you ask something only you would know and it tells you (I did this and I was the person writing. The people who had their fingers on it would not have known at all).

However, if people who are there do not believe it won't work as well. Everybody has to believe in the spirit world.

Also it's not a good idea when you don't know what you're doing. You have to open the board correctly with a spell, you have to know the sequence bad spirits will spell to enter your home and you have to close the board correctly (and not by just saying goodbye).

It's also not good to have anybody there that is joking around or being nasty about it. People deserve as much respect when they are dead as they do when they're alive

Why? I haven't the foggiest idea how my car work but it still obliges.
