Current situation: 6 months baby that I love and husband that I used to love!

Yanbu! We all need a break from time to time. Will your husband object? It's his baby too, so unless you are breastfeeding, he should be perfectly capable of minding his child for one night.
Perhaps you can have your "break night" one weekend and your husband can have one the next?
You need to work it out between you both.
If he refuses, you have a husband problem....

Sounds like heaven to me...

We all feel like this especially with such a young baby. Don't worry it gets easier to put yourself first. I used to feel the same - that I wanted me time but didn't wanna miss out x

thismummydrinksgin · 23/08/2018 07:06

Also why did you used to love him and not love him anymore?

Fatted · 23/08/2018 07:08

I'm feeling like I could do with about a fortnight of this! Mine are 3 and 5. Baby will be fine for one night with someone else.

Surroundedbycats · 23/08/2018 07:08

exactly how i used tp feel (still do)

let yourself have that one evening/ night off

FrozenMargarita17 · 23/08/2018 07:11

I hear you OP. Except my baby is 1 now

GimbleInTheWabe · 23/08/2018 07:18

Same here OP. Except I did have a night off for my birthday on Tues night, went for dinner with friends and expressed a load of milk so DP could put the baby down. Got home at 10:30 to a baby asleep in his nappy in the front room and a pissed off DP cos he'd had a stressful night, so of course I had to pick up all the pieces. I wonder how he thinks I manage it.
Rant over!
