Have just checked my online banking and found 2 payments to a company called 'chaturbill' which I've never heard of. Is over £120.00 gone from my account., which I can't afford to lose. From a quick Google search it looks like it might be linked to dodgy chat lines. Does anybody have any experience if this? Were you able to find out how the payments were made? I've cancelled my card as an immediate measure but am anxious to get to the bottom of this and would appreciate any advice.

Ring your bank and tell them.

Hi. Thanks. I have rung the bank and told them. Have cancelled the card to prevent any further use. Am just suspicious as sounds dodgy and wondering if anyone has had any experience with this company.

Does anyone else have access to the account? Could be porn sites.

CSIblonde · 21/08/2018 23:08

If you Google it, it processes payments for 'subscriptions to entertainment websites'. Porn? There is an account cancellation form but as your banks cancelled that's pointless.

Nobody should have access to the account but my fear is that it is something to do with porn sites and that somebody's used my card (it would be accessible to close family). That's my worry really and why wanting to see if anybody else had similar happen and what it turned out to be, and also if they ever got to the bottom if it. I doubt the police have the resources to investigate losses of that amount.
