If you are a writer - when do you write? Early morning or late at night?

Do you have to fit it around work? If so, when do you write?

If you are a full time writer, do you find your do your best work early or late

I write, but will be taking on other work soon and getting very busy, and wondering what pattern will be most productive for me.

Early. I work from 6 am onwards; I'm useless in the afternoons!

I drop the kids at school and write 9.30-12.30. Collate ideas ALL the time. Walk the dog and that's thinking time for plot holes etc. READ a lot of the rest of the time.
