I've been sick for years and I'm finally better and getting my cooking mojo back

I'll start with some photos in a moment

Duck with whiskey and passionfruit sauce (last night), a Christmas cake, and Cherries Jubilee with vanilla pannacotta and spiced gingerbread hearts. We have started running a monthly pop up restaurant at home and really enjoying pushing our culinary boundaries!

Here’s a Christmas meringue wreath I did . Not the easiest thing to decorate when you’re three sherries and two poinsettia cocktails up !

I think so ! All I can remember of it is trying to balance teeny weeny mint leaves on it in artistic fashion after having cooked Christmas dinner for various assorted hordes , with just myself and a bottle of sherry in the kitchen for company , and by that point possibly squinting owlishly out of one eye ...

I'm currently 5 months pregnant and totally went off cooking after making this cake but now it's starting to come back!

Not much cooking but looked as good as the recipe - seared tuna with tomatoes, mozzarella and basil

I did!

Hazelnut Nutella cake, New York baked cheesecake cooked in the Instant Pot, and a coconut layer cake with mallow frosting that I made for DP's birthday.

I love to bake but always forget to take photos and then remember after the first slice has gone!

Two summer meals: First is Morrocan lamb burgers, cabbage salad, mixed leaf salad, fried courgette, corn on the cob and a flatbread. Second is Avocado, corn, tomato and chorizo salad with a lime based dressing.

And one from since the heatwave broke; dairy & gluten free roast, (roast chicken, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, roast onion, stuffing, sweet potato mash, green beans, peas, carrots and leeks with homemade chicken gravy).

And now I'm hungry...
