Baking cooking grilling foraging

Any of it

I've been sick for years and I'm finally better and getting my cooking mojo back

I'll start with some photos in a moment

Lancashire butter pie, Halal cart chicken and rice, Spanakopita.

Ooh this is my type of thread! My favourite thing to cook is risotto but I don’t have any pics. We’ve recently bought a pasta machine so been making lots of different types of pasta. My pics are of a Sunday dinner, a Christmas dinner and homemade pizza.

Oh, the photos didn't post.
Try again.

Only my roast and a chocolate cake I have pictures of! Lol

Halloween lunchbox and emergency bread from March, when we had all the snow.
The congee and the paella photos are making me drool!

Summer holidays give me the chance to use all my unused equipment. I have had the pasta machine for 19 years ... it was very exciting!

I need the congee recipe

The heck with the recipes; I need an invitation to dinner!

A few blackberries and apples from the garden made a delicious apple crumble!

My very first attempt at a Christmas dinner and my sons 3rd birthday cake :)

The cake didn’t attach first time

Not anything special but dd’s on holiday with my parents and they hate sausage casserole so was what we had for dinner the day they left 😂

I’ll take your fancy pancy cakes and raise you CORNFLAKES

Forgot photo 😂

My best cake icing.

Burrito bowl, booze trifle and salted caramel and chocolate cake

I’m a big fan of the one pot/dish recipe. Paella and chicken and new potato lunch!

I made a lovely Puy lentil cottage pie the other day, with leftover cauliflower/broccoli cheese mashed into the potato topping.

It looks awful, but it was delicious.

SaucyJack that is a work of art!

1. A two fingered salute to the local Chinese takeaway (much nicer, and all vegetarian!)
2. Vegetarian sushi. Too much effort for too little gain.
3. Cat litter tray cake. Always a hit.

Calamari and artichoke, strawberry cheesecake, chocolate latte mousse

DP is japanese so these have become our go to meals (not great photos!) Okonomiyaki, miso salmon and sushi.

Sushi, I love making it

Thanks Nacreous, I'll give that a try!

I remembered I think we usually put halved cherry tomatoes on the top too, LittleFoxes
