Some of these are seriously impressive but I'll post my effort anyway!

This is a Victoria sponge made with apricot jam and topped with cherry halves.

I dont use a recipe!
I make masterstock with a chicken carcass, then bung rice in till it looks right and cook all day in the slow cooker.
Add whatever you want to serve, it's great for bits and bobs you have lying around.
For my masterstock I use the chicken carcass obvs, a couple of dried chillies, a chunk of ginger, some spring onion tops and a few black peppercorns.

MagicFajita · 19/08/2018 18:42

Sorry it didn't post.

So I have a chicken pasta bake recipe that I think my friend made up from the m and s ones, but I only have it in my brain so I may have edited it, and it may not be the same as the PPs.

My recipe involves some fried diced chicken. Add some tomato sauce/tomato and vegetable sauce (if I didn’t use a jar, I would use oregano, herbs de Provence, fresh basil, tinned toms, garlic, onion and chopped peppers, black pepper and pref with added wine). Mix all above with pre-cooked al dente pasta. Add optional cubed mozzarella. Daube on blobs of pesto. Top with grated cheese. Bake til cheese bubbly and bake hot all the way through.
