I've just endured both in my row of seats! I did tell a girl next to me to put her phone away as she was literally going to make a phone call. Then her friend proceeded to talk through the whole film. I should have told her to be quiet, but I'm a mouse and felt I would be nagging. Furious with myself now and feel cheated out of a nice evening. What does everyone else do? Does it bother you?

YANBU, however it seems pretty much that people feel entitled to talk all the way through films and live music concerts.

At the cinema?

People are dicks

I've never encountered that but I'd definitely say something in that situation -would really annoy me!

Never encountered that either. People looking st phones up to them. people talking a shhhhhhsh suffices.

Why didn’t you either tell them or get the staff to sort it?

Stop being a wall flower! Gets you precisely nowhere
