Thanks mimi. I heard that MJ segment and I think that is what started to clarify it for me.

The Elizabeth Bumiller interview is excellent and I enjoyed her trying to avoid saying the President was like talking like a mob boss. It reminded me of the NYT documentary when she was trying to make sense of events in the WH without going into hyperbole.

At the end of MJ, there was a discussion on Trump's assertion that he was too successful to be indicted. Donny Deutsch said it was an argument that would resonate with friends who were not Trump fans but who, nonetheless, supported him because they enjoyed the financial benefits. Sad

An old Sunday School song comes to mind about the wise man building his house on the rock and the foolish man building his on the sand. Looks like the sands that Scrotus built his house on may be starting to shift. Hopefully that means his house will shortly go 'splat'. Just like in the song.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired back at President Donald Trump Thursday afternoon, after Trump said he "never took control" of the Justice Department.

"I took control of the Department of Justice the day I was sworn in, which is why we have had unprecedented success at effectuating the President's agenda -- one that protects the safety and security and rights of the American people, reduces violent crime, enforces our immigration laws, promotes economic growth, and advances religious liberty," Sessions said in a statement.
"While I am Attorney General, the actions of the Department of Justice will not be improperly influenced by political considerations. I demand the highest standards, and where they are not met, I take action. However, no nation has a more talented, more dedicated group of law enforcement investigators and prosecutors than the United States."
