Title based on what a college professor used to tell us when the going got tough.

"Just remember when you're standing shoulder deep in horse shit, there's a pony in there somewhere. So just keep digging".

If you think this week was devastating for Trump as I predicted you ain’t seen nothing yet. A story should break shortly that will put the final nail in Trump’s coffin. Keep your seatbelt buckled, because this ride is getting even wilder. Stay tuned, my friends.

Oh fun .... Grin

I have now seen a few snippets of Sneerah's performance yesterday. What I thought was most striking was her lack of conviction she when rolling out her scripted repetitions, she hardly seemed to try to appear to be convincing. She seemed worn down. Ben's coming home to roost? Maybe a red oneGrin

Hen - autocorrect has bloody lousy intuition.

Gumpendorf · 23/08/2018 11:44

Too bad election law crimes seem so technical. If Trump had paid to have his accusers, Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal, physically gagged on the eve of the election so he could win, nobody would doubt the enormity of his crime. What Trump did was no better. It’s huge.

Jon Cooper’s tweet sounds promising!

ohmymimi · 23/08/2018 11:47

Oh boy:
“It almost ought to be outlawed. It’s not fair. Because if somebody’s going to give—spend five years like Michael Cohen, or 10 years, or 15 years in jail because of a taxi cab industry, because he defrauded some bank—the last two were tiny ones,” Trump explained. “You know, campaign violations are considered not a big deal, frankly. But if somebody defrauded a bank and he’s going to get 10 years in jail or 20 years in jail, but if you can say something bad about Donald Trump and you’ll go down to two or three years, which is the deal he made .....
“I’ve seen it many times,” Trump said. “I’ve had many friends involved in this stuff. It’s called flipping and it almost ought to be illegal "

And you can almostbhear Ainsley Potplant's roots growing.

'The Latest: US embassy tries to calm Africa's Trump outrage'
www.yahoo.com/news/latest-african-union-alarmed-trump-statement-090539965.html

Now where is it that Melania is choosing her wardrobe for this autumn?

ohmymimi · 23/08/2018 11:57

Ignore that link, the was just a previous Oaf racist outrage. This is what I meant to post:

US Ambassador to SA has been called in to explain.

Lweji · 23/08/2018 12:01

Is he going to invade SA? That would be a great wag the dog war.

ohmymimi · 23/08/2018 12:02

He makes it sound such fun - it's not.
That had better be an f'n huge and sharp nail, fella.

Minimammoth · 23/08/2018 12:03

< rushes in out of breath>
Lost you for a minute. If Melania is let out of the country without Old Orange, will she come back?

Lweji · 23/08/2018 12:04

If Melania is let out of the country without Old Orange, will she come back?

Her parents already have US citizenship, so I'd say yes. Unless you mean back to the WH.

Lweji · 23/08/2018 12:09

Campaign violations are somewhat small peanuts in the grand scheme of things, but his pal Alphonse Capone was caught for tax evasion.
Not sure why Alphonse would be in his mind at times like these. Wink

For reference:

Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump
Looking back on history, who was treated worse, Alfonse Capone, legendary mob boss, killer and “Public Enemy Number One,” or Paul Manafort, political operative & Reagan/Dole darling, now serving solitary confinement - although convicted of nothing? Where is the Russian Collusion?

She has her son to consider. Sad

AsAProfessionalFekko · 23/08/2018 12:10

Whose to say he wouldn't have a tantrum and have them reported anyway?

ohmymimi · 23/08/2018 12:13

A point on the Oaf's Carlson prompted SA slur, which he thought was a clever bit of distraction from his shit. Utterly careless of any effect or consequence, other than to move on the news cycle for his own benefit (and with what another shit subject).

ohmymimi · 23/08/2018 12:25

How hard would Oaf fight to have/share custody of Barron when the marriage ends? He shows zero interest in him. He didn't fight for Tiffany. He might play dirty, out of spite to make life difficult for Melania. But I'd guess money and silencing her would be more important to him. All the angst the Stormy etc. sagas cause him suggest that area might be a prenup. issue, so the premium may not be all his way.

ohmymimi · 23/08/2018 12:26

premium prenup

ohmymimi · 23/08/2018 12:31

Thanks for the explanation, Gump (I Googled eboardGrin )

Lweji · 23/08/2018 12:33

His first three were raised by Ivana, weren't they?

The thing is, would he want to be the one left? It would better for his ego if he left her for another woman, but I don't see that happening while he's President.

ohmymimi · 23/08/2018 12:41

Curly is a knob:
'Paul acknowledges that Russia “probably” interfered with the 2016 presidential election, but he downplays this meddling as inconsequential while offering the kind of absurd framing for which Kentucky’s junior senator has become famous. “Do I think that they probably hacked into Hillary Clinton’s emails? Yes. But they are never, ever going to admit to that. But if I were to weigh hacking into Hillary Clinton’s emails with nuclear war, they sort of pale in comparison.”
Either we let Russia’s hacking slide or we have nuclear war. It’s the kind of logic that leads to arguments like the one Paul offers as a follow-up.'
