If you ordered this and this was what arrived would you be pissed?

First pic is the photo on the website, second is what arrived. I know the lilies haven’t opened yet and they obviously aren’t displayed in a vase, but AIBU?
They were on sale but RRP was £40

But it's just the lillies that are different? Much nicer to have unopened flowers. £40 is steep but internet ordered flowers always are.

Does it have the same amount of flowers as in the picture?

Well it looks like you are one rose down if I counted correctly and I can't see how many lilies you have from the photo. I am wondering if you displayed them out in a vase it might look better as obviously the photo in the website has them displayed at their best.

To be fair, this is just the pic MIL sent so I can’t see it properly, and yes if they were in a vase they would look much better.
I think it’s that there’s a couple less Lillies, one less rose, and looks to be less foliage, but maybe it is just the picture.

Did you order the standard one with free chocs for £20?

The roses will probably be past their best before the lillies open so I get your point but you don't want lillies sent open in case the pollen stains their petals.

The one shown on the website is the medium one and costs extra. The standard one would therefore have fewer flowers but will be cheaper

They should look better in a vase. I would email the shop a photo if you are still not happy, after arranging them and trimming the bottoms

Potentially a rose down but potentially there's one hiding at the back there. I can't really tell how many lillies but also potentially less foliage. I'd want to see them in a vase before I could really comment.

After several disappointing flower arrangements from online 'florists' I now google a local florist to the recipient, and call them with an order. I have yet to have a duff arrangement arrive. The photo from your MIL looks pretty off.

It depends which one has been sent as the picture from the website shows a medium bouquet which is bigger than the standard one so it will have more flowers.

The online photo has 6 lillies (2 of those unopened) and 6 roses

Your flowers have what looks like 4 lillies and 5 roses so yes they aren't right I'd ring and complain

Yes you have far fewer flowers overall. It looks smaller because the lilies haven’t opened yet, of course , but you still are missing at least three blooms there. They seem to have sent the small not the medium. Call and complain.

I had the exact same experience with this company, ordered 100 roses and got half dead mini roses I was lucky if there was 20. I complained and they refereed it to their florist, she was a happy that the flowers were healthy so wouldnt offer a refund just a 10% off next purchase voucher - awful company

I have a feeling I ordered from the same company and complained because the flowers were listed as scented and they weren't. Took a bit of back and forth but ended up with a voucher for the full value.

Always use a local florist who will deliver. I’ve used the same one for my parents for years, they know they’re getting repeat orders so they do a great job every time.
