Right first off sorry to AIBU but I have tried other boards and had no answer so this place is my last resort.

So I have heard you can customise so that OP post are a different colour.

I've looked back at through posts on this topic and they all give this link:

Except when I go to it it doesn't have that option. It doesn't have many option tbh just.....

I am using a laptop with Chrome but I have also tried with Safari and it's the same.

Any ideas why?

And just to keep on topic AIBU that this has sent me into a temper that is completely out of proportion to the actual problem.....

This is my customise menu - iPhone using desktop site:

On my phone the OP msgs are in blue and mine in mauve but I have never chosen them as options they have always just been like that

Are the posters with fewer options absolutely sure they are on the desktop site?

I get the fewer options on the mobile version of the site, I'm guessing that could be the problem

I'm on a laptop and if I scroll to the bottom the only option I get is to switch to the mobile site.
I'm too pregnant and irritable for this shit.....whine, whine, whinge....

I can change number of visible posts but that's not the issue, to those posters asking about that, and you can clearly see from the screen shot I have a drop-down menu to change it.

The arrow changes the number of posts, as explained above. As previously stated, my phone and desktop are the same: I have tried the mobile and desktop sites on my phone AND my desktop pc. I still do not get the option to change colours.

We are selecting customise ive screenshot mobile and desktop but for some reason it doesn't specify that customise is selected on the desktop version.

Right at the bottom of the page you are on showing the options, there is an option to switch between desktop and mobile site. Have you tried switching as mine has all on desktop and only those you show on mobile
