This truly beats all comers in the terrible bridesmaid dress world championships.

Helena is a head in a Continental Quilt

I would like to see her in a bin bag t prove that old saying about people looking good in a bin bag

I like to think they walked down the aisle to the Muppets "Mahna Mahna" song...Grin

NotAgainYoda · 13/08/2018 18:28

Really: what cow would do that to their sister? It's a psychodrama. It really is

TransplantsArePlants · 13/08/2018 18:28

Three Grin

Rainbowtrees · 13/08/2018 18:29

They all look like they are waiting for day surgery.

roundturnandtwohalfhitches · 13/08/2018 18:31

Helena is a head in a Continental Quilt

I just PMSL. The phrase continental quilt was never more apt.

Troels · 13/08/2018 18:49

Awful, trying to hard to be edgy and cool and end up looking rediculous.

BalloonSlayer · 13/08/2018 18:54

Snort!

Finally seen uglier bridesmaids dresses than the ones DSis and I had to wear to other DSis's wedding in 1978.

Didn't think it was ever gonna happen . . .

(Mind you didn't think Donald Trump would ever be president either)

ohtheholidays · 13/08/2018 18:55

They're wedding should be titled if Ikea Did Weddings Grin

ooodile · 13/08/2018 18:58

Am I really the lone voice here who thought they look beautiful?!
I just thought they were so different to the run of the mill looks at UK celeb weddings. Not an orange face, revealing cleavage or talon nail to be seen. It was pretty and old fashioned.

I especially loved the bridesmaid in blue trainers, blue dress and yellow sunflower and the bride with her little leopard print jacket afterwards.

Worieddd · 13/08/2018 18:58

Haha! More hilarious than the outfits are the comments on this thread Grin

StarsDifferent · 13/08/2018 19:03

White and lemon dresses. I think looks nice and chilled :).

StarsDifferent · 13/08/2018 19:04

yes oodile agree.

NotAgainYoda · 13/08/2018 19:08

oodile

these sorts of Bohemian floaty dresses and oh-so-relaxed-but-planned-to-the-nth-degree affairs are all the rage with minor European royalty and fashion types. They aren't celebs in the normal sense as no-one has heard of them!

alltoomuchrightnow · 13/08/2018 19:09

hmm...well, it's not Kardashian. So, I quite like.
Kinda, well a lot 70s but more natural
As Ooodile says..

dingdongdigeridoo · 13/08/2018 19:11

The one with the nightie-dress and fur coat looks like the bin men have shown up early, so she’s grabbed the first jacket she could find to run outside.

The one on the boat looks like they’re escaping some sort of cult on an isolated island.

(I kind of like them Blush)

NotAgainYoda · 13/08/2018 19:11

Kate Moss

At least Kate had the good grace to have ACTUAL children as her bridesmaids

mayandjuniper · 13/08/2018 19:14

They look fine IMO. It's very 'fashion', which is their world. I see loads of bridesmaid dresses which would never be my choice but seem to be accepted as lovely. As long as the bride and bridesmaids are happy then what does it matter? Not kind to mock her dress either.

beeefcake · 13/08/2018 19:15

I actually love their dresses, including hers! I think the whole thing works really well

goose1964 · 13/08/2018 19:15

I had an op last week, my hospital gown was way more stylish

NotAgainYoda · 13/08/2018 19:16

may

Does her sister look happy? Does she? Not even in the world of looking-grumpy-in-modelly-way does her sister look happy

sociopathsunited · 13/08/2018 19:19

Unpopular opinion but I kind of like it. She looks like she's gone for what she really wanted, not what she felt she ought to have, and that I can applaud. I wouldn't like it for myself, but maybe they're testing the theory that a model can look good in a potato sack (or Granny's tablecloths and a bedsheet). I'm all for doing your own thing!

itchyknees · 13/08/2018 19:22

If I had supermodel mates, I too would dress them in cotton bags. I however, would have some ginormous confection which made me look divine. The bride looks crap too so maybe she’s a better person than me.

She does look good. Even Helena's head looks good. But the others look ridic. No-one should make their friends and family look like the Von Trapp children

itchyknees · 13/08/2018 19:23

It must have been so draughty, those dresses have NO structure below the neck.
