To wonder if foot size can really go up a full size in a week?

Had dd’s feet measured last week in Clarke’s and they were 11.5. Just had them measured today and they are 12.5 ??

Can they really grow a size in a week or have they measured wrong?

She’s 6 btw

We've had similar with both DC, they were also wildly out with width. I just don't believe them anymore.

I can beat you. Can't remember exactly how old he was (it's a long time ago) but DS1, having had the same size feet for 18 months, suddenly went up three sizes during the summer holidays.

Foot measuring is just a guide not a definite size.

Feet swell when they’re hot and the position it’s in will make a difference.

The size shoe that fits the best is the size your DD will be, bit the number on a measuring tool.
