I cannot stand the expression “hubby” I have no reason for this at all it just makes me cringe.

WHY?! “My husband, my partner, my other half” all fine “hubby” NOooooooo! I actually secretly judge people who use it Blush

'Obsessed with' ....you actually mean you are fond of. Stop bloody exaggerating.

Flucker · 12/08/2018 17:49

Myself, yourself, yourselves. Anyone who uses any of those terms needs a punch in the mouth.

Someone called me in work and their starting sentence was this -"myself hasn't received a letter from yourselves. Did yourself send it to myself?"

No. It's me and it's you. Never myself or yourself

whatwouldkeithRichardsdo2 · 12/08/2018 17:50

Mothers referring to other mothers on social media as 'Mama Bear' or exclaiming 'you rock, Mamma'

Cringe.

imnotreally · 12/08/2018 17:51

Teachers referring to other teachers as 'miss' (no name, just miss) and calling me mum - I am not your mum. Please call me by my name!

I HATE bae, mostly because I spent ages not knowing what it meant or how to pronounce it. Bay is fine but bae is definitely not.

Boob as a breastfeeding term. Yuck!
