To feel massively depressed about weight gain **pic inc**

I had my second ds 3 months ago and I am seriously low about my weight. My 2 boys are my world but I can't help but feel down about my body.
After ds1 (now 2.5) I snapped back. Always had a slim waist and curvy bum but was slim so didn't mind.
Now I just feel fat. Everything is wide.
I have spent the last 3 months eating nothing but healthy food. No treats. I walk between 2 and 4 miles a night once the kids are in bed.
The first pic was 18 months ago and the one on the he right is tonight.
Do I look hideous? I have to wear this dress at the weekend and now I'm dreading it.
Also does anyone have tips on how to target my midriff?
I feel like ds2 has changed my body shape permanently and I'll always be this wide.

Wait so you can fit into a pre preg dress 3 months post birth? You have nothing to worry about. I was totally amazed to get back in my pre preg jeans 3 months after giving birth even with real portion control! I’d call that snapping back quickly so I can’t imagine how fast you snapped back after your 1st. I’m sure you’ll be back to your old self in no time. In the mean time you still look great.

Love the black dress OP!

You look great in both. Remeber youre older too. The tummy after number 2 is virtually I'mpossible to shift. That's why so many women have a tummy tuck at the same time as a c-section. Accepting it wil be easier than shifting it.

You look fantastic for having had a baby 12 weeks ago. Most women would kill to have your figure Smile

12 weeks is still very much the PP period, go easy on yourself Smile

Hooping. An exercise that targets the tummy and bum really well and it's also like a lovely massage. Get a 40" adult hoop. Loads of Youtube tutorials on how to get going. I lost 2 stone after my son purely from this. x

Honestly I had my baby 6 months ago and I'm still the biggest I've ever been and don't seem to be losing any weight, you look great and your post has really depressed me cos it's made me realise how massive I would look in that dress!

FinallyARainbow · 14/08/2018 12:05

The black dress is stunning.

My DS2 is also 12 weeks and I could have written your post. Even though I've lost the baby 'weight', everything is wider. Seeing the difference in your confidence wearing another outfit has settled it that I'm buying a new dress for a wedding in 2 weeks and accepting that I can't get in to my old one without feeling uncomfortable. Thanks for posting - you look great and I don't feel like I'm alone thinking like this 😊

MeMeMeow85 · 14/08/2018 12:10

The black dress is much better. The nude one isn’t flattering

Morgan12 · 14/08/2018 12:33

OP could you possibly tell me what control pants you bought? I'm 3 weeks post section and feeling very wobbly.
