To hang the washing out even though I know it’s going to chuck it down?

I’ve just hung the washing out even though it’s clearly about to start tipping it down. My reasoning is that a) I had five minutes to do it and actually felt up to it (I’m massively pregnant) and b) It’s not forecast to rain tomorrow so it will dry then.

Is there any reason not to do this? I’m always reading on cloth nappy groups that a bit of rain is good for softening up crispy nappies so I figured it can’t do sportswear and knickers any harm!

I do it all the time. As long as you are confident it will dry quickly tomorrow it's all fine! It's easier when it slots in conveniently to my day
