Can I ask, which famous person do you get told you look like?

Some friends were over at the weekend. Their kids love Mrs Doubtfire and had watched it again recently. They told me how much I look like the mum character in the film, Sally Field . My son-in-law then piped up and said "Yeah I thought that too when I first met you". I can't see it myself but it could have been worse (thank the lord they didn't think I look like Robin Williams in drag!).

Can I ask who you get told you look like and whether you're happy with the comparison?

Many years ago, someone told DH that he looks like Julio Iglesias. I’d have preferred him to look like Enrique

When I was younger I was told I looked like Goldie Hawn, now I am 53 and have changed my hair colour I am told I look like Severus snape!

Liv Tyler, I once went to see an Aerosmith tribute band and one woman wouldn't believe I wasn't her and the more drunk she got the more annoying she was, in the end I had a selfie taken with her and signed her arm which got rid of her!

Dh gets Daniel Craig and Paul Hollywood, he doesn't look like either but has light blue eyes.

Years ago a lady stopped me in a shop as she thought I was the woman in Corrie who played Claire. I didn't think I looked anything like her (and neither does DH when I told him the story and found a photo of the actress) but hey ho.

actually I have been accused of being someone once, but no one famous, I was in my local shop and this woman came over and started talking to me like she knew me, not even pausing for breath, I was a bit taken aback when she called me Debbie (not my name) I said thats not me, and she said, "yes it is you Debbie", the more I protested I wasnt 'Debbie' the more she protested I was, she went on "and your brother is ..., you live at.....!" I said, nope its not me, but she was insistent then said well you are twins then. Apparently she knew this person well, and to be honest it freaked me out a bit, especially as the lady I apparently look like lives close to where I do. I hope she doesnt ever end up on crimewatch!
