I don't watch a lot of YouTube tbh, but whenever my 3yo DS gets access to a tablet or phone he's straight on there and he watches some weird shit: the whole kids opening kinder eggs or toys videos - what are these about and why are kids so transfixed by them🤷🏻‍♀️
What's even weirder still is when fully grown adults make videos of them opening kids toys and then proceeding to play with them and give the toys strange 'child' voices, like they'll open and play with a new Paw Patrol toy and then the man and woman role play a 'Paw Patrol' scene with the Skye and Chase toys etc.
It's so horrible to have to sit through, but obviously I have to so I can monitor what he's watching isn't unsuitable or sinister

The fact my DS doesn't have a lot of access to electronic devices is obviously because I'm a 'perfect mother' and absolutely nothing to do with how much I can't bare to watch or hear these stupid videos 😉😂😂
