Chatting to a friend about going out tonight (after the week I've had, I bloody deserve it!)

She started on a massive stretch about me claiming PIP to "piss it up the wall", I obviously need the disposible income, etc, etc. It was really bitchy!

She's made catty comments in the past, but tbh I thought that was down to me- I have a weird sense of humor, and take the piss out of myself all the time. But never like this.

She said that, if I was independant enough to go out alone (I'll be meeting a friend, but eill be making my own way) I shouldn't be claiming Personal INDEPENDANCE Payment, and that "I'm what's wrong with the government atm!

I sent her a REALLY sarky text in reply, but it's made me doubt myself!

Got out at 8 this morning, Fuck me they couldn't make hospitals more comfortable could they?! Felt like I was in a bloody sauna which I don't get because it's absolutely pissing it down in Grimsby (it's already on one of my threads where I am so fuck it)

Also came back to the SIL complaining about the ex-dp (need to start a thread for advice on that shitshow actually), two shattered kids and an exhausted dp bless him, neither kid slept til 4am this morning

Does anyone else dread the sound of the letterbox? I have this irrational fear that it'll be more sodding forms telling me it's time to renew ds's PiP or Esa as I have to do it for him as he's autistic, has a learning disability and is being investigated for epilepsy.

I beginning to wonder if dd should apply. She's 23 and an Aspie with anxiety and depression. She's working but struggling. I'm not sure if the form filling would just make her anxiety worse.

I have all that to come YouTheCat. DS1 does his own forms, I'll try and apply for PIP for me, from what Rad said, I might get something. The worst thing about being autistic, I think, is our bluntness. I'm not sure if I could play up the problems it causes me, because, as my psychotherapist says, I use coping strategies. I have a shit memory, so I do things in order, so everything's a cue for the next thing.
