Family that live behind us (our back gardens meet). The mother has been swearing/shouting at her kids (I think there are two) NONSTOP all morning. Actual F'ing and blinding at them. 'You don't F listen, you're a f little shit' etc etc.
I am working from home, yes with my windows open, but it's 26 degrees where I am and I don't see why I should have to close my windows/lack fresh air, because some idiot who cannot/will not treat their child correctly, is polluting the environment with her expletives!

All I would say is make absolutely sure it is the house you think it is before you do anything. We have just had world war 3 on our little estate, someone accused a neighbour of all sorts to do with their dogs. Except in reality it was a property two streets away which most 'original' residents knew. Smh.

I’ve just come back from our local shopping centre, where I saw a woman chasing after a toddler, shouting “come back here you fucking, little cunt before I fucking twat you!”

I kid you knot, it was vile!

Aquamarine1029 · 01/08/2018 12:38

I would report her for abuse. How horrible for those children.

Gibraltarlady · 01/08/2018 12:40

Report. It must be classed as abuse surely ?

HollowTalk · 01/08/2018 12:41

Of course it's abuse. Those poor kids.

@KatieMarieJ Very good point. You're absolutely right, I originally thought it was someone on our street , 3 houses down. As the swearing continued and I 'followed the noise' it transpired to be coming from the direction that I mentioned.

@Mulberry72 That is vile, and entirely reminiscent of what this lady has been shouting all morning.

Hearing stuff like this makes me despair. What chance do these kids have with parents like that? Both a disgusting way to treat children and a horrible example to set them. I just cannot understand how anyone can be so completely vile.

As annoying as it is for you OP whilst you are working I would be more concerned about the welfare of those children and I think you should report what you have heard (if you are 100% sure you have the correct address).

HereForTheLaughs · 01/08/2018 13:07

Magicpaintbrush, I completely agree with you. The welfare of those kids is much more important than any inconvenience caused to neighbours. It has finally quietened down (lunch time I guess), but if it resumes and I can be sure of the exact address, I will report.
