I know INBU but for crying out loud BA, what's going on?
My flight has been changed so many times I don't know what to believe anymore.
Any other Mumsnetters know what's going on? Anyone else losing the will to 'patiently check the boards?

How come you're stuck? How long have you been there?

Dds currently waiting in Edinburgh for their flight, been delayed over 3hrs so far.....

My flight landed late, about 20 mins late - not BAs fault - so they rebooked me onto a later flight, but not the next BA flight, the flight at 9. A 9 hour wait.
Which turned into an 11 hour, then 12 hour.
The reason apparently is bad weather over Europe has felt the flights.
The first visit to the desk was a food voucher, and the second another food voucher.
I've been up since 2 am UK time and I suspect I'm not as fresh as a daisy, more like the water daisies are plonked in.
I've tweeted them, but no response.
Anyone have a clue what's happening?

There are warnings on the weather forecast sites of storms and floods, as there has been no rain for some time it will probably be due to the storms.

There are folk here waiting for the Edinburgh flight too.

BA have been cancelling flights since yesterday.

If you're on your own post on the lounge thread and see if anyone can guest you in. You can get a shower and some decent food!

Seems the second leg of my journey was cancelled YESTERDAY. Pity they didn't put it on their App or even email me!

We landed at 1830 and OMG that was the worst last 30 mins of a flight ever experienced.

I fly 2-3 times per week for work!

We were at 45 degrees, we dropped massive drops more times than I can count. Think stuff out of lockers, coming out of your seat - there is a reason for that sodding seatbelt, my niece has a bruise on her thighs from the seatbelt it was that hard. The plane was juddering, struggling to climb, failed approach, then the same again - it was awful.
