To not want my house to stink of weed

Last few nights have been an absolute scorcher here, we've had windows and doors open to allow air to circulate. At the same time, there's an almighty stench of weed coming through late evening.

We have suspicions that it's our adjoining neighbours, but no proof (unlikely to be the old couple to the other side, and I asked our friends next door but one outright!) Last night was the final straw when my teenage daughter couldn't sleep in her own room due to the stench. So I complained loudly outside about the inconsiderate asshats that were smoking it.

Today I have knocked twice to discuss it with them, knowing full well that they are in, and they have ignored me. I'm at a loss as to what to do next, tempted to call 101 this evening if it starts again, but would rather just deal with it and stop them smoking it unless they keep their windows and doors shut.

Gah, AIBU to not want my house to stink of weed?!

have you tried writing a letter and posting it through their door? being nice and saying you dont mind what they do but it is affecting your children, if they could be a bit more considerate then you would appreciate it.

tread carefully, if you contact the police they will know it was you as you have already complained to them, and it could start a neighbor war :(
