AIBU unreasonable to wonder what Mumsnet has "ruined" for you? (lighthearted)

Had to take eldest to his volunteering job today - drove past some men putting up scaffolding and in great big letters the company name of C&F Scaffolding. And where I work, there are colleagues who show up as being in CF . In their world I think it's because they work in Core Finance but it's now just so wrong.

So Mumsnet have ruined the letters C and F for me.

What have they "ruined" for you?

Actually it has enhanced things for me. Now, when I do perfectly mundane things, I get to feel incredibly deviant and rebellious.

Examples include using the swimming pool's communal showers and changing rooms for their intended purpose (sexual exhibitionism), attempting to get my heart level up during an exercise class (the dreaded Mumsnet 'attention seeking') and pissing off 'introverts' just by existing.

I actually think MN is quite favourable to MILs, as a child I thought it was a well known fact you had to hate your MIL and was pleasantly surprised to find you didn't. You see more about people saying how much everyone hates their MIL than actually people disliking their MIL on MN.

MN has definitely ruined men for me and romcoms but I am okay with that, I see red flags left right and centre, every tv show Im handing out LTBs like sweets. I often say LTB now in real life as a joke but no one gets it
It has also ruined loo brushes, guilt-free bedding and towels, tbh lots of things.

Honestly- childbirth. I’ve read so many threads full of horror stories on here that I’ll be asking for an ELCS when I start having kids. I was quite afraid of childbirth and labour before, now I’m utterly terrified.
