to wish that once, just ONCE, my teen would do something he doesn't particularly want to do without moaning?

I mean, I don't want to cook or go to work every day. I don't want to unravel dirty socks, I don't want to clean the house, I don't want to listen to him moaning about stuff, I don't want to do hundreds of things every day.

WIBU to put on a face like thunder, moan, whinge, fling myself on the floor, put my head in my hands and yell SHUT UP!!! every time I'm expected to do something I don't feel like doing?

It might surprise him how often that is.

Can't you pay him one day a week not to talk to you at all?
Might make him realise how much negative shit comes out of his gob.

It is tempting to have a full on tantrum shouting ‘stop being soooo annooooooying’ but then I’d have to slam a few doors and lie fully clothed in bed for several hours
